WE COVER WHAT'S IMPORTANT!

The Tri-Cities Diaper Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that collects diapers through community diaper drives and partners with local agencies who distribute them to infants in need through established programs and guidelines. WIC and FOODSTAMPS do not allow families to purchase diapers. Daycare facilities require parents to provide disposable diapers. Without disposable diapers, a parent may not have access to childcare essential for them to make work, school and job training commitments. A lack of diapers, also forces desperate parents to choose between leaving babies in soiled diapers for extended periods or trying to wash and reuse disposable diapers.

Current Needs:

  • An individual or organization to provide the Administrative Fee for ONE or TWO truck loads of diapers. The FEE for each truck load is $6,000. Make us your charity this year, and help provide the fees for a truck load of diapers for infants in our community!
  • A person willing to write a grant or two for us annually. Experience in grant writing is a definite plus, but not necessary.
  • A storage facility for our diapers – Come partner with us. Do you have unused space at your business or home? We are currently paying for storage and are looking for ways to reduce our expenses.  If you are interested or have questions please contact us directly at 509-946-8807.
